Hour 1 with Joe Starkey and Paul Zeise: Friday Starkey Six Pack. Najee Harris didn't receive his fifth-year option. We were surprised, but Zeise and Starkey called for this to be the case. We have to think with a new mindset with Omar Khan in charge and we should have been suspicious the Steelers waited and didn't pick up the option. 

Stanley Cup Champion Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK thinks if Mike Sullivan is  so adamant his assistant coaches have to stay, there should be real conversations about Sullivan. Would this be an easier way for Sullivan to get out of Pittsburgh? What's the difference between the Penguins and Washington right now? Not much. Free association. TK thinks Joel Blomqvist will be the main goalie at some point next season.

Pitt great and Pro Football Hall of Famer Russ Grimm joined the show. The center is a significant part to an offensive line's comradery and Russ mentioned how his young offensive line in Washington thrived despite their age. The Steelers will have a very young line, but it's not a big issue. Russ is helping out at the Joe Moore Camp coming up for offensive lineman. 

Hour 2 with Joe Starkey and Paul Zeise: Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joined the show. Ray was surprised the Steelers didn't pick up the fifth-year option on Najee Harris. If Mike Tomlin wanted it to happen, the Steelers would have picked it up. Ray thinks this is Najee's last year in Pittsburgh. Starkey would give the franchise tag to Najee if he has a Derrick Henry-type season and not give him guaranteed money two years from now. 1,300 scrimmage years and 10 touchdowns would be a great year for Najee in Ray's mind. He thinks Jaylen Warren will receive more carries than Najee. Free association with Ray's answers and our own in-depth analysis.

Taking some pressure off Henry Davis and sending him to Triple-A might take some off his plate and help him find it with the bat again. Paul Skenes is going to 'embarrass' Triple-A Buffalo hitters for the second game in a row. David Bednar has something going on with him, but what is it? Bob thought the Pirates would hit more home runs.  The Penguins fired Todd Reirden. Changes need to continue to be made. Texts in the city.
