-
- Tv en film
To celebrate the 25th jubilee of what is considered by many to be the greatest year of cinema I’ll be hosting a movie night each weekend for the entire year. This podcast is my invitation to you to join us for the ride. Venture back with us to the before-times when movies could be daring and unpredictable and different to anything anybody had seen before. See you at the movies!

S01E26 - Run Lola Run and Runaway Bride
This week Craig runs away, so it's only Jason hosting a very short podcast. We begin with the exciting "Run Lola Run", which was so good that we watched it twice. We were then disappointed with the terrible "Runaway Bride"... the less said about that the better. See you at the movies!

S01E25 - Magnolia and Analyze This
Jason is overjoyed while Craig is overwrought and languishing in despair after watching the first 2h45m of Paul Thomas Anderson's masterpiece "Magnolia", exiting stage left as amphibians descended from the heavens. He tried therapy only to be bumped off the waiting list by Robert De Niro in the light entertainment escapist antidote of "Analyze This". See you at the movies!

S01E24 - Bringing Out The Dead and A Civil Action
Jason and Craig drive an ambulance around the gritty nighttime streets of New York City in search of a good Nicholas Cage performance in the Martin Scorsese's "Bringing out the Dead" while John Travolta chases after them asking for a drink of water in the star-studded Erin Brokovitch-esque "A Civil Action". S01E23 - Praise and Notting Hill
Love is in the air as Jason and Craig yack about Praise, the dismal, dour and depressingly honest Aussie love story with a fantastic soundtrack by Dirty Three, before they embark on the sugar rush that is the overly saccharine English romcom of Notting Hill. See you at the movies!

S01E22 - The Insider and Titus
Join Jason and Craig this week as they delve into the world of shouty actors telephoning in their performances in the impressive The Insider before they are snatched up by the lapels and dragged into the Shakespearean tragedy that is Titus. See you at the movies!

S01E21 - Gods and Monsters and Arlington Road
Craig returns from his sick box and bumps Sam Altman's Monster to the sidelines to join Jason to chat about probably the highlight of the year so far, bringing Gandalf and George of the Jungle together in the remarkable Gods and Monsters, before they start peering over neighbourhood fences to try to catch their neighbours doing something despicable in the twisty Arlington Road.
