Just the best
I like a lot of boardgame podcasts, but these guys are just the best. Great for long drives, walking the dog or during miniature painting! Love them.
A great quality Podcast
Found this little gem after looking at the dice tower network. The sound quality is great. The quality of reviews and talks great and comprehensive. RPG discussion is even interesting for a non RPG player. Great discussions and a good balance between the segments. Also the different opinions of the games are very helpful in deciding what game to buy.
If you like games listen to this
So why listen to this?
First and foremost - it's plain fun.
Second - it's real people with real people banter…. and thanks to multiple people contributing you get multiple angles which actually makes a quite balanced view on different things.
If you want a real mechanical explanation of games and what to look for in games - go to either Ludology or how-to-play.
Both are great podcasts…..
If you want G-rated podcast about games… then go over to The Dice Tower - nothing wrong with that.
They have an excellent podcast too.
If you are looking for a podcast which talks along the same lines as you do - which doesn't just give opinion, but makes you understand multiple ways of looking why you would / would not like a game, a genre, a style of playing, etc. Then look no further.
As much as I can endorse a number of other podcasts…. this has surpassed them all and has become my favorite.
Hands down!
