The major areas of improvement were the user experience, checkout, payment methods, and customer service. This included everything from reducing the number of clicks required to add a product to the cart, to creating custom bundles, to better-organized shipping methods, to more virtual payment options, and beyond.

How do you price your shipping methods? In a world with Amazon free two-day shipping, it can be hard to compete and determine the right shipping methods and policies for your business.
Shopify offers many different options when it comes to creating shipping methods and setting shipping pricing. But we like to keep it simple. Flat rate shipping or free shipping is the way to go.
The worst thing you can do is give your customers an (unpleasant) surprise at checkout. Having a clear policy that lets customers anticipate exactly how much their shipping will cost is a win-win. It creates a better user experience and promotes more sales.
Plus, if you're looking for a way to control your shipping areas and prices down to a T, then you'll want to check out MapIt, an app in the Shopify app store. It lets you draw your custom shipping zones directly on a map to make them as precise as possible. Then, only the relevant shipping options show up when customers proceed through checkout.
