The biggest barrier to change has always been culture. When personal computers were new to the workplace, many employees stuffed their computer into a corner and treated it as furniture or viewed it as something for just the secretary to work with. Now it’s difficult to think of a job that doesn’t require any use of a computer. We’ve come a long way since then, but that just goes to show you that transformation rarely goes well in the workplace. Taxes may be the price we pay to live in a civilized society, but no one, no matter how wealthy they are, likes paying taxes.
