Every episode Brian and Rylan will meditate on various topics for 3 minutes each. The first 3 topics is our "Wiki Welcome" where random Wikipedia articles will be discussed in real time. The next 3 topics is the "meta middle" where 3 predetermined questions with a heavier taste of philosophy and metaphysical qualities will be posed by one co-host to the other. The final 3 topics are devoted to current events. As Rylan puts it a lot of people look at us and think, "wow those two people have such enigmas of brains I wish I could know more about them" so here is your chance to find out.

    Three minutes of meditation has its first one week turn around in a year. Keep up with your random Wikipedia articles, meta-questions, and the ever-changing lives’ of our two hosts. There’s a more intimate tone to this week’s discussion as Brian and Rylan draw on their personal lives to discuss the past and future of personal lives and humanity in general. The episode also features the first time Rylan asks 2/3 meta middle questions, stay tuned for the wise questions of your second favorite co-host Rylan Flint.

    Three minutes of meditation returns for season 2! Start your 2021 off right with your favorite podcast. This season still features your two favorite hosts, but with slightly better audio quality courtesy of a new mic. Our hosts have some trouble shaking off the nerves associated with the intense pressure of a second season but soon fall back into the classic tropes of every great TMM episode including sharp dialogue, crazy ideas, and a lack of commitment to the ever-elusive three-minute time limit.

    Three minutes of meditation returns! After a long absence from the mike Brian and Rylan return to action with our first guest speaker Matt Stas. Matt shares a lot in common with the TMM team being a University of Maryland student and a roommate of the co-hosts. He offers up his intellectual capabilities and unfettered opinions to todays topics with Brian and Rylan, while together they fail to keep under the ever elusive three minute time limit.

    Event though the first idea is often criticized the most, is it the most crucial?

    A friend of ours lent a bike to another friend of ours who then got 4 flats in a row. Was this just a simple stroke of luck? And more than that what is that cause of luck in general? We debate.

    Are people afraid to change sides in an argument because they would be stupid or thought of less intelligent than the person they were arguing with?

    Episode 5 comes after a two week break where  despite the extra time Brian and Rylan managed to continue their streak of minimal prepartion to deliver a normal episode in the sea of corona virus chaos that has changes our society immeasurably. Brian and Rylan come back to the mike in order to faithfully deliver 30 minutes of thought provoking conversation to our listeners favorite organ: the brain.

    Current Conclusion

    The Corona viruses sweeping impact of our nation and the globe has caused topics of conversation to run rampant, including the all new rage of social distancing. But as always Brian finds a way to tie it to a deeper philosophical themes and so how the virus has made humanity re-confront  mortality becomes the center point of discussion for the virus. The topics then turn to lighter news as the neighbors downstairs have gotten a loud an anxious dog and Rylan will be turning the big 21 next month. The episode closes with a thought experiment on how the two host will survive if the outbreak becomes a full scale zombie apocalypse.
