Tooting Island Flicks Leonora Mellish

For this week's special Christmas edition, I am joined by Jamie Carey and Becky Maddison. Two people whose random film knowledge almost rivals mine. Jamie is Ireland's premier rolo fan and connoisseur and did a stint a a Disney World prince whilst Becky is a champion fancy dresser, whose best recreations include Pulp Fiction's Uma Thurman (post overdose) and Young Kenny from Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. They are both Marketeers by trade as well as nature and so you are in for a very entertaining episode.

This week I am joined by Lorcan O’Duffy a self-proclaimed BNOC within the drinks industry and a lover of cocktails. When not pouring whisky and mezcal for spirits geeks, Lorcan is a rugby fanatic, an international activist for male facial hair and the only person I know who is half Irish, a quarter German and a quarter Turkish. We used to work together and spent a big amount of time quoting films, much to the annoyance of our surrounding colleagues and look forward to discussing, which three films he will be taking to Tooting Desert Island.

This week I am joined Alicia Mellish, a PR / interior designer superstar who has set up companies, sailed across the Atlantic and rapped in front of 2,000 people. She also happens to be my sister and my partner in crime when it comes to all things film related. A film buff to the core, Alicia has one of the most eclectic tastes in films of anyone I know which makes her a waterfall of knowledge when it comes to movies.

This week I am joined by my favourite gruesome twosome Claudia Watt (formerly Cooper) and Flora ‘Posy’ Thompson-Ashby. Claudia and Posy met whilst working in the travel industry forming a firm friendship, which resulted in them becoming residents of Cell Block H, Pimlico’s premier tower block. Both huge fans of Disney and coming of age movies like Not Another Teen movie, their likes and dislikes akin makes them the perfect duo to appear on Tooting Island Flicks together.
