“I hid so he wouldn’t see me.” --



March 7th 2014, the bodies of a young couple Britney Cosby and Crystal Jackson are discovered behind a convenient store dumpster, Port Bolivar, Texas. With very little clue of when and where the murder happened, the police visit their fathers, who have been both furiously against their relationship. Both struck by the news and dissolved in tears, could one of them be hiding a twisted secret? But what the detective doesn’t know is that Crystal's 5 year old daughter Zaniah, who was hiding in the car at the time of the murder, might have seen it all.

It’s 9:30 PM on July 22, 2018, when 18-year-old Nia Wilson is on her way home with her 2 older sisters at MacArthur BART station, but none of them are aware that a man has been following them. The images that were caught on the train’s CCTV will spark outrage in the US, and start a family’s journey of putting a killer behind bars and making sure everyone remembers the life of Nia.

“Mama, don’t leave me here” --

On May 12th, 2003, 13-year-old Tyler Edmonds walks into the police station in Starkville, Mississippi with his mother, but as soon as he arrives, cops separate mother and son, and bring Tyler to an interrogation room, alone. He doesn’t know this yet, but his own big sister has named him as the murderer of her husband, Joey Fulgham. Alone, confused, and scared, Tyler is bullied into making a false confession, leading to a life sentence without parole in one of the most notorious prisons in the United States, now, the young teen has to fight for his freedom and make sure the real killer pays for their crimes.

It’s the early hours of June 7th, 1995. Detective Bill Lindsey is carefully taking pictures of a crime scene with two dead bodies, 34-year-old Mary Phillips, and her 11-year-old daughter Lacey. After having photographed the young mother in her office, he turns to the little girl on the chair, head down and covered in blood, but something unexpected happens: when his camera flashes, she opens her eyes.

With no evidence on who did this, nightmares follow Charlie as he fears for his own safety, while the BTK attacks more and more people. It would take 30 years to finally catch him, after taunting the police repeatedly, where Charlie would finally be able to confront his family’s killer face to face and get his revenge.
