Revisionist and one-sided

If you want to reinforce your Twitter-fueled views of the world, this is a podcast for you. Leftist witch hunting puritans will find what they desire. Right wing conservatives will be offended and throw their hands up at another example of bias (which is probably what they desire). There no mention of the violence against bystanders by the protesters and exaggerates the role played by groups like Patriot Prayer. Bottom line, it’s a missed opportunity to look at both sides. So don’t bother listening if you’re actually curious. That being said, it gives you a deeper understanding of protesters views (which I find very narrow and emotional) and some interesting history about Portland (all of which requires huge mental leaps to tie to whatever it is that the protesters are protesting about). Nancy Rommelmann provides a much more balanced assessment of the Portland protests.
