    TODD KOHLHEPP “THE KILLER REALTOR”

Todd Kohlhepp’s disturbing life of violent crime started at a young age. When he was only 15, he was charged as an adult for the kidnapping and raping of a 14-year old, which resulted in a 14-year prison stint that put him on the sexual offenders registry.

When released he didn’t wait long to start murdering people including, unleashing terror in a motorcycle shop and killing four. But none of this stopped him from earning two Bachelor’s degrees in computer science and business and becoming a successful real estate broker.

By 2016 he had murdered countless people, but this all came to an end in November of 2016 when investigators tracked a missing persons cell phone to his 100 acre property in South Carolina. The investigators found a young woman in a scene straight from a horror film, she was chained up in a storage locker for months, clinging to life!

A Disappointing and Unethical Podcast Experience

Podcasts have the power to take us on captivating journeys and make us ponder complex issues. Unfortunately, I must say that the podcast "Where the Bodies Are Found" did not live up to these expectations. In my personal opinion, the host of the show adopts an unethical approach by blindly believing what prisoners claim, without conducting thorough research.

One of the major concerns I have with this podcast is how the host approaches the victim's family. It is unfathomable that he would call them to inform them that the alleged perpetrator, who is already incarcerated for a different crime, is responsible for the crime against their loved one. This announcement seems to be made without any substantial investigation. Respecting the presumption of innocence until someone is actually convicted of a crime is crucial.

Furthermore, in my view, the podcast host is incredibly naive and lacks interviewing skills. The questions he asks are leading and seem to be spoon-fed to the prisoners. This undermines the credibility and objectivity of the program. A good interviewer should strive for a balanced and open approach, exploring and critically questioning different perspectives.

Overall, I can't help but conclude that the podcast is a disappointment . The unethical approach of the host, the lack of thorough research, and the leading interview process leave a negative impression. It is important to remain critical as consumers of media and strive for quality and responsible content.
