Why Do Women Love True Crime Podcasts‪?‬ Sian McGuinness

Why are females the biggest audience of true crime podcasts, despite the fact that most of these stories portray violence against women? In this documentary I speak with female true crime fans, podcast producers and academics to get to the bottom of the issue.



This documentary was created in part-fulfilment of a dissertation project for the MA Multimedia Journalism at Manchester Metropolitan University.
