    • Carrières

Anna interviews WFH Mom Jen Ritchie. We talk about what it’s like running her own business and be a dedicated mother as an ex-pat far from family and friends, what it’s like having a “helper,” and how being a mom can provide real clarity on what we really want from our life and work.

About Jen:

Originally from Canada, Jen is a serial entrepreneur, who ventured out to China in her late teens and has never looked back. She has now set down roots (for now) with her Australian husband, Luke who she met in China and their 3 yr old son Arlo who was born in Hong Kong.

Her excitement to explore is what drives her and takes her on new adventures.  As a good listener, Jen has the ability to quickly evaluate the business potential of a new venture and help you to create an initial road map for success.

She works from home ( most of the time) as a Shopify expert and retail business guru, running her own creative commerce studio, So Now What Studio,  where she helps retail entrepreneurs develop new business ideas or readjust existing ones ranging the entire scope of running an e-com business from product development to initial branding to the end customers experience.

She also runs 2 online retail stores, one which has recently opened its first brick & mortar location in Hong Kong.  As well as co-runs a retreat business, running retreats in China for women starting product based businesses needing help sourcing product. Her fluency in Mandarin and understanding of China’s business culture is definitely a bonus while she helps guide and mentor you on women on their journeys to starting product development in China.

She is passionate about helping women gain the confidence to start their own business and be their own boss, often teaching e-com workshops to sold out audiences around Asia.

As a mother she knows it takes dedication and  a F*** ton of coffee to run your own business… or in her case, businesses.

You can find out more about her at https://www.sonowwhat.studio or even better yet attend one of her retreats and meet her in person with https://empoweredsourcing.com
