In this episode of Health Transformed we have the guest speaker Ashley Grimes who is a nurse for 14 years and she will be telling us about how important Cannabis can be for health and wellness. She explains firstly how she herself got into cannabis medicine as it is truly not a part of traditional medicine or practice. She also tells us how she went through cyber theft which made an impact on her life and resulted in a traumatic experience due to which she herself had to take up yoga, meditation etc. How this all led her to learn about the endocannabinoid system . She further puts light on why cannabis is not so known and the reasons behind it along with explaining in detail how and what makes the endocannabinoid system in body work. She conveys us ways on how we can activate and use this system in an appropriate way . She also educates providers on how to incorporate cannabis in their practices to help their patients thrive. She speaks about the various stigmas behind cannabis by stating “Risk and Benefit is in Everything”. She concludes by stating that even after people realize they still overlook or let it go because of various reasons.
