NEW: EMAILFROMAMERICA - November Mash Up

NEW: EMAILFROMAMERICA - November Mash Up

t’s November so Zeff talks Veterans’ Day, Ice Hockey, and Halloween.

First up, this show’s Talking American is an officer, and a lady, who tells us about going to West Point and doing her stint in the US Army. Then it’s off to Maryland to meet a husband and wife who make and sell furniture made from old ice hockey sticks. And on his e-mail, Zeff has some thoughts about where all the uneaten chocolate goes…..

    As always, great American music

More the E-mail from North America, as Zeff takes us to #Canada, to meet journalist and documentary filmmaker, #RobertAlstead.
Alstead’s most recent film, Running On Climate, focuses on Andrew Weaver, a scientist turned politician, as vies to become the Green Party’s first member in the British Columbia Legislative Assembly. With climate change and the environment at the forefront of the discussion, the film examines the way global issues reverberate at a local level.
    And in the E-mail Zeff ponders a #MelaniaTrump doppelganger…..

What better way to spend an hour than having a tipple or two as Zeff sits down with Pernod Ricard Wine Ambassador – Christine Dalton. There’s chat about price points and terroir but ultimately we’re giving our host’s palate a work-out.

Also, we’re going back to college as our “Talking America” feature takes us to Virginia Tech.
