Looking back at 25 years of practicing dentistry, I found myself at an unexpected crossroads. “Gift of Influence,” an influential book by Tommy Spalding, not only reshaped my perspective on leadership but also churned up profound regret over the mistakes I've made as a boss, parent, friend, and sibling.
