Here’s the deal: we had some audio issues. But! We feel this is listenable enough and we had so much fun recording this episode that we said “fuck it” and posted. Learned some lessons about recording in person! In addition, please enjoy a brief appearance from Allison’s cat, Freida.
Also, Allison said some things about Simone Biles (all positive in the moment!) that, in hindsight, may seem a bit insensitive given what we now know about her injuries and perseverance in her sport. Important to note that this episode was recorded at the very start of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics before most events got underway.
