Ralph Bender is the CFO of the Manship Media, a broadcasting group in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Prior to joining the Manship family businesses, Ralph spent a number of years in public accounting with both a national and a regional firm. We discuss ethics and situations that Ralph experiences in his career. He says the most important aspect of his job is to balance the interests and do what is right for the company, the employees and what’s right for the owners. There are core issues that we are taught at a young age and one of the core elements Ralph sees is responsibility which he says is a basis for ethical behavior.
