Love the show!
I love love love the show! A solid 5 star rating. However, there’s sometimes disturbing background noice. F.ex. the interview with Benjamin Wittes. The noice is clearly on the interviewee’s end, and it unfortunately takes the focus away from the topic. Soundcheck?
Indispensable
This show is not so much a breath of fresh air as an hour-long gateway into that other, more utopian world we all wished we lived in, one full of wit, intelligence, and interesting conversations – mostly inquisitive and good-natured, at times confrontational and pointed, always interesting and well-informed. The show is typically structured around two interviews conducted by Terry Gross, lasting roughly 30 and 15 minutes respectively, with clip shows often featuring 3-4 shorter extracts and the odd movie or music review; the interviewees range from actors and politicians to sportsmen and writers, some A-level and some unknown, who are either in the news or have otherwise managed to pique Terry Gross’s curiosity.

No matter how well informed you think you are, this program will ad heaps to your knowledge base. Absolutely fantastic!
