Whipsmart queens of commentary and solid researched storytelling
Discovering this podcast blew my mind- I’ve never laughed so hard, been so entertained and intrigued. Desi and Rachel skillfully find the obscure idiosyncrasies I’m famous and not so famous cases that will cause you to binge watch every time you get the chance. How can a true crime series give you such a feeling of belonging and that you are not alone in your interests/irreverence? How can it be so feel good?! I almost feel guilty! I can’t stop talking about these ladies and how funny, expressive of social justice, of themselves and their life struggles. Listening is more than about true crime and scandals- it’s helps you understand yourself and the world better even though these crimes can be so bewildering and disturbing. Rachel and Desi are what I tune in for. I love scandals especially gold Hollywood ones which is how I discovered the podcast but I became a huge fan of the hosts. May they continue to do this podcast and much more for a long time to come. I can’t recommend highly enough and to enough of my friends who are into dark stories and bawdy, dark humor. The social justice bits, Desi and Rachel bring in such as breaking down fat shaming, 3rd wave feminism etc have expanded my understanding of these topics and their sharing of their own life struggles have helped me understand myself better. A billion kudos! Well done!
Need more!
I love this podcast. Only thing that’s lacking is more frequent episodes!
