This episode is an interview with Vimbai Jaricha a female entrepreneur who makes handmade crafts through her company Crotchet 'n' Knits Villa.She shares how she was fired from her job pushing her to start using her hands as she had done as a child making crotchet products.Her company is award winning and she empowers other women through partnerships with the Government and other organizations.

Most entrepreneurs cite funding as a major hindrance to starting or growing their business. However, they blindly get into partnerships that are detrimental for their projects.Kudzai highlights that money is not the only thing wanted for a business to grow and also a partnership that is based solely on money does not bring any value. She opens up about her own experience and shares how one can fund their business without losing control of their business.

This week I'm joined by Geraldine Eve,the CEO of 143 Communications a digital agency based in Zimbabwe as she tells us of how she started her business after getting a boot from her former boss. Her company is now one of the biggest digital agencies in the country and she is spreading her tentacles throughout Africa.
