Narmina Hasanli is an entrepreneur from Azerbaijan. A graduate of the International School of Azerbaijan, she attended New York University, where she studied Politics and Middle Eastern Studies.   She was the Executive Director of the Sevimli Bala kids club chain in Baku. 

In 2018 she co-founded Babymama, a center for pregnant ladies and those in postpartum recovery. The center also offers services for kids, including baby spa and kids classes.   

Narmina runs Cult Baku Book Club, a place for like-minded people to meet and discuss books.

Furkan Karayel is an award-winning software engineer, diversity and female founders ambassador as well as appointed Global Goodwill Ambassador (GGA).

She is the Founder and CEO at Diversein.com , global diversity and inclusion platform that brings people from different backgrounds together to make happier and equal workplaces.

Furkan enjoys inspiring start-up companies and connecting STEM girls with strong and successful business women as a role model.

Tahmina Rafaella is an Azerbaijani filmmaker and actress. An alumni of Berlinale Talents (Sarajevo 17’) and Williamstown Theatre Festival apprentice program, she holds a bachelor's degree in film studies/creative writing and has been studying acting since she was seventeen.  

In 2015, the Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan funded her first feature film, Inner City, which she wrote and starred in. The film competed in multiple film festivals around the world including Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Cairo International Film Festival, International Film Festival of India Goa, Lake Van International Film Festival where it won Best Actress, and at World Fest Houston receiving the Gold Remi Award. Recently, Tahmina wrote, directed, produced and acted in “A Woman”, a short that just began its festival run and will next be competing at Palm Springs Shortfest. She is currently working on a feature with a renowned Azerbaijani filmmaker.   

In 2019, Tahmina was selected as one of the 100 Faces of Azerbaijani Youth, a program organized by NAYORA (National Assembly of Youth of the Republic of Azerbaijan). The program selects individuals under the age of 30 that have contributed/continue to contribute to the advancement and improvement of the Azerbaijani society.

Persistence, believing and practicing your positive thoughts is the key to reaching your goals.   Nazrin, originally from Azerbaijan, has had a wonderful educational journey studying in Germany and Australia. She has completed couple internships among which include D2D Fundraising atUNHCR(Australia), Corporate Social Responsibility & Strategy at BMW Group and International Sales Management at Alphabet International GmbH. Her internships have helped her to develop her communication and leadership skills, which she can now easily apply while working as a Scrum Master.   

Besides her professional work, Nazrin is also a very talented artist. Her passion for art had led her to become the Winner of an Art Exhibition awarded by German Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan. Nazrin drew 'Germany with the eyes of an artist" and started her journey to studying abroad.
