In the latest episode, and in honor of Italy’s historic Euro Cup win, a roundtable takes on its favorite and not-so-favorite Italian meals. I’m joined by fellow gastronomers Ms. Nic MoneyPenny and Mr. Eric Heras. (Nic lives in England, and Eric does not.)
Is fried calamari the bellwether of a good Italian restaurant?
“To anchovy or not to anchovy? That is the question.”
Speaking of which, how many of us think that a Caesar salad is anything more than a bowl of green water? (I kind of liked them until I heard our guest demolish it.)
You want to know -- NEED to know -- the answers to these and other risotto-related questions. But just so we’re clear, we are NOT going to talk about pizza and especially not about pineapple on pizza. We did that last episode and it caused a ruckus. Be sure to listen to that episode first.
