LHAC-0110: InRoads to Employment Initiative w/ Pat Keul
In this episode, which is the third from our 2018 Fall Conference, Operations Director, Pat Keul, speaks about our "InRoads to Employment Initiative", which is funded by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities.
This will be follow by a presentation by "Your Local Greens". They are a company owned by two entrepreneurs who use hydroponics to grow vegetables. They are committed to hiring people with autism. DI-NC is working with them and Alamance Community College to develop an apprenticeship program for which the participants can earn money and college credits.
