Conversations with Internet Besties💗

I have listened to Karen and Georgia [and STE-ven!] discuss true crime for years now. Its been wonderful seeing and hearing how their research and storytelling have evolved.

But— more so than finding a safe home where my true crime obsession is celebrated and understood, I have found a home in their willingness to share, be open, and deeply vulnerable.

I am truly grateful for their ability to normalise talking about mental health, family issues, outspokenly taking a stand on issues that really shouldn’t be divisive but somehow still is 🙃 and how they are genuinely receptive to constructive feedback and critique.

Thank you ladies [and dedicated team of two and four legs] for creating a safe community that fosters critical thought, compassion, and radical vulnerability.

I came for the true crime but stayed [and will continue to do so] for the life stuffs 💛

With love and continuous efforts of staying both sexy and alive,

Too much talk, not enough action

Been a huge fan of this show for a very long time, but unfortunately it lost something over the years. It’s too much blah-blah in every episode, 30 minutes of loose chat before getting to the point is WAY too much. Do not need to hear what Georgia or Karens therapist said in every single episode. I also think Karen does too much of the old-timey (boring) stuff, but that is just my opinion. I’m sad to unsubscribe, but this show does not spark joy for me any more.
