Welcome to the first episode of the Olney Town Podcast. Nicholas speaks with folklorist Adam Sargant and the Trustee of the Cowper Newton Museum, Tom Jones.
We explore the history of the towns Devilore and why the devil chose Olney as his home for so many years. Most of the devil stories are linked to a semi historical pair of books written around the turn of the century by Oliver Ratcliff. We try and dissect as many of those stories as we can.
