For as long as video games have been available to the public, controversy has never been far away. Parents and advocacy groups have long raised concerns that their violent nature can influence young players into performing those same violent acts in real life. Some politicians have even gone as far as to blame them for mass shootings. But most people agree... a video game on its own, can't hurt you. Right?
