We ask ourselves what aligns with our purpose. We talked about moving it from a choice into a commitment. We define what the scarcity mindset is and where vulnerability is from within our core.

RRT - Daily Equity Practice Series Ep. 3 Accountability: Honor your Why

RRT - Daily Equity Practice Series Ep. 3 Accountability: Honor your Why

DEP Episode 3 Accountability: Honor your Why

What goes into how accountability for anyone works or doesn't, and why is it important to look at your accountability?

    Think about this.

"I believe I'm going to be accountable for doing my work; I'm going to be accountable for moving through when shame and grief show up in this work. I'm going to be accountable for moving through it and understanding it and transcending it, and not being it is why I'm going to opt out, right? I'm going to be accountable to move through it, which means I believe in myself enough that I can do this. And like when we hold someone else accountable, what we're really saying is, I believe in you enough, that I am going to trust that you're going to follow through on this need to ourselves, as I believe in me enough that I'm going to follow through on this."

Let's dig into being Accountable to help you create a Daily Equity Practice.

RRT - It's Time to Adapt Series Ep. 5 Be Connected

    ITTA Episode 5 Be Connected

In this episode of the It's Time to Adapt series, Carole Burton of Radiance Resources and podcast host of Radiance Real Talk talks with Tracy Y. Washington of the Relationship Leadership Philosophy about how we behave in the workplace, home, and community. We know that when stress at work increases, we take that tension into our homes. When leaders choose to work on themselves, employees notice this shift in the organization's culture. There is a direct correlation. Hence, employees will gain a sense of trust. There is an opening for everyone to engage and contribute. This step is essential when adapting. When the leader decides to work on their fears and concerns, the adapting process begins. The same happens at home. We chose to talk about the workplace environment because when we adapt, the environment's vibe shifts. When we work to improve, we evolve. When we work on ourselves, we lead.

From a listener: "I enjoy the discussions Carole and Tracy have and the focus they bring on leaders. These episodes make me think of my leaders, present, past, and future, and which of them I looked up to and which of them had or openly worked on the skills discussed in this podcast."

Think about, talk with others, and share. Welcome to Radiance Real Talk.
