My mission is breaking the stigma on EV and hybrid cars to help people get to know them better through ownership experiences.
A stigma thats caused by car journalists in general, who got to love the sound of V8’s through free, specced out test cars. Going through those experiences, of course can make them bias when testing general EVs and hybrids flat out on airstrips, therefore missing the point of those cars that I’m highlighting in the podcast with actual owners.
When it was time to buy my first used car, a Prius, I read all the reviews I could find and watched all the videos on youtube on what to look out for. But I felt somewhat disappointed as there was a limited number of resources out there covering used Priuses. So I read as much as possible in Facebook groups, and online forums on the car.
When I was checking out a Prius to buy, one owner asked if I could come with him to check out a newer model he wanted to upgrade to, as he saw me going over his car meticulously.
There are now four Gen2 (2004-2009) Priuses in the family out of which, one was sold not long ago.
I started the weekly podcast to share the acquired knowledge on used Priuses, to help others with information on the technology, the car and to talk with owners from around the world about their experience and the industry.
The podcast was extended and rebranded from Prius Podcast to ReInverted, to cover all sorts of used hybrid (mild, normal, plugin) and used EV cars as well.
On top of the weekly episodes, every Tuesday, episodes with Tesla owners are featured in the Tesla Tales Tuesday (TTT) series.
