Chris and Elle are a fun, adorable, weirdo couple who love watching movies and reacting to them. In this podcast they dissect movies both new and old, and even pit legendary characters against each other in their wildly entertaining Pec-Offs. Elle analyzes characters from a deep psychological and cultural lens, while also seasoning episodes with high pitched squeals and fun audio effects. Chris is a writer with absurdly sharp observation skills, uncovering plot discrepancies and shredding weak characters with his wolverine-like claws.

Roadkill (Pet Sematary, 1989)
We look at Pet Sematary (1989), the story of a a family in Stephen-King-Maine, who learns to use the power of an ancient burial ground where “the ground’s gone sour” and soon discovers that “sometimes dead is better.” We discuss intrusive neighbors, unexplained Shining skills, and living next to dangerous roads, among other things.
This almost became a "lost episode," since we recorded it back in late 2023. So much has happened since then! We got married, had a honeymoon, and then moved to another state. But we're still the same oddball couple, still watching movies and picking them apart, still making each other laugh - and hopefully you, too!
