In the early morning hours of April 14th, 2013, Claudia Maupin awoke. As she opened her eyes and threw the sheets off of her, she never would have expected to find a stranger standing in the bedroom with her. That evening, Davis police officers would find the most gruesome scene in the small town’s history.
