Shrapnel in the Brain
Listening to Dan and Simon dissect and analyse the Second World War through its cinematic depictions is a joy to behold. A must for anyone who had a grandparent who chucked on The Dirty Dozen to then bemoan how it wasn’t accurate or like how they experienced it, but you stared in wonderment at the ballyhoo carnage unfolding on your flickering screen. Dan and Simon recapture that magic with each ep and cleverly help point out the most stereotypical nazi depiction each time. So sit in your foxhole dreaming of gunfire and cuddle up with this companion.
