368 episodes

This my retelling of the story of England, which is a regular, chronological podcast, starting from the end of Roman Britain. I’m a bloke in a shed, but I make sure this is good, properly prepared history, and then fill it with my enthusiasm. You’ll find the great events and people for sure – but also some of the byways, of how people lived, their language, and the forces that shaped their lives and destinies.(Note iTunes only displays a list of 300 episodes. There are rather more, which all other podcatchers DO list).

My favorite podcast ever!

This is simply the best! Better than all the rest! David's sense of humor combined with how well researched and written it is, makes the show a blast. I literally laugh in public, making a complete fool of myself on a weekly basis. Listen, for the love of God!

Absolutely a must for all history lovers

This is a great podcast. David does a great job telling the complete history of England, very thorough and with serious research the story is correct and told in a balanced way, but with tons of humor and an easy style. Absolutely a must for all history lovers. Highly recommended.
