Special Episode - Simulcast with the Black Rifle Model Worx Group
On This episode of the Insanity, the inmates do a simulcast episode with the Lads from Black Rifle Model Worx Group. We join Luke Carswell, Adam Challenger and Stuart Goodswen on the BRMW Youtube Channel. Frank Donati and Rob Adams are live from Frankie’s basement (Dont Ask) and Tuch is there.
Hot off the heels of Mosquitocon, Rob disparages the British accent, while discussing the differences between British/European shows and American shows. TL;DR: other than the competition versus display only, its the distances!
Adams wins another banner contest....on his own page! and Riv takes offense...again! And Adams finds a new laxative-airplane turbulence.
We also hit on online purchases, prices, and shipping, and why is everything so expensive?
Black Rifle Model Worx does a Kits for Kids Fundraiser, and we lay the groundwork of being involved with their next one later this year.

Episode 14 - On the Road to AMPS Nats...
Episode 14 "On the Road to AMPS Nats... “ As you are listening, the guys should all be converging on South Bend! John Charvat gets us even more hyped up for NATS! We discuss his history with AMPS, the past shows and most importantly, this year’s show! The guys also discuss their new purchases and projects on their benches. This did get recorded a few weeks back, so you may already have seen some of these builds shared as completed by now; Riv also comes at Frankie D about his choice of apparel, while trying to explain to the rest of us what the hell “Oaktag” is... Frankie D talks about the Moosaroo Cup, and his entry. (of course, by now we know the results of this contest...). The kit was a teenie-tiny little 1/72 scale Russian/Ukranian Ural truck.

Episode 12 - The Wright Stuff
Episode 12 “The Wright Stuff”
The guys sit down with the legend (perhaps in our own minds) Mr Lincoln Wright-live(ish) from Australia! Laugh along as Justin fan-girls throughout, and the rest of the crew begins to understand why….
From Sumo buttholes to his first Ma. K. Show in Australia, Lincoln opens to us and gives us his origin story, and even lets us in on a secret-he does build more than just Ma. K.!
We also discuss his books-his FAQ book on Sci Fi subjects (where he got a spanking for too much Ma. K.) which spawned the idea for his next two books, The Lincoln Report Volumes 1 and 2, and drops some info on his third book in his series....
We also discuss the preorder and upcoming release of a new tooled 1/35th scale Falke kit, expected in July. We have our preorders in...do you? In celebration (so to speak) of this release, We are having a Ma.K. group build, and if you are reading these show notes, that means it is already in progress! Get your kit and join in on the fun! It will “end” with the release of the Falke kit in July.
You can find Lincoln Wright at PaintonPlastic.com -a carefully curated location that is everything Lincoln Wright in the hobby! He is also on youtube, and his own group of the same title on Facebook
You can find the members of the Modeling Insanity Podcast hanging out in our discord channel, with nightly build rooms (which are open and available all day, er’ry day-so if you’ve got some time at the bench, hop in a room, and someone is bound to join ya!). We keep the discord link pinned in featured. If it doesn't work let us know and we will correct the link-for some reason, the link expires from time to time-
You can also find Rob Riv @ Rob Riv’s Modeling Insanity, Justin can be found @ Ryan’s Random Modelwerks, Frank Donati @ The Model Lager, Rob Adams @ Rob’s MMU Studio, and Steve Santucci is just on facebook as himself.
Join us in The Modeling Insanity Podcast Facebook page, it is always great to get new members of the asylum!

Special Episode - The Scale Model Podcast Roundtable Series Part 1 - The Producers
In 1765, the Sons of Liberty first met, with a goal to be free from British rule. In 2023, the men, which will come to be known as “The Mutual Admiration Society” in future annals of history, met in a secret recording room. There they discussed topics ranging from “what’s editing like for your show” to “why is it you put so much time into your podcasts?”
Are these two groups in any kind of parallel? Lol. Why would you even think that?! This is a hobby revolving around grown men building little plastic tanks, shops, airplanes and cars!
