Hello - for now this is a dump of random conversations with myself!

    An Ode to Relationships

    An Ode to Relationships

An Ode to Relationships. It's funny how in a single minute, an hour, a month or a lifetime, can the moments we have with people be so fulfilling and connected. To the woman wearing a beautiful yellow dress, trotting down the street and sharing a glance...a momentary connection, or to the cute barista at Starbucks who smiles and asks what coffee you're feeling for the day, I've come to a realization that those moments that have little to no expectation or pressure of first impression, are those that are most fulfilling. And today, I share a few memories of the most cherished moments I've had with people, both short, bittersweet and also lifelong. When we release ourselves of expectation, it creates space for emptiness, where two souls can connect freely without strings attached.

Pride For Akhil - A Gay Hindu Man

Pride For Akhil - A Gay Hindu Man

Happy Pride Month my fellow queer folk and allies! (Also my birthday month hehe!) For quite some time I've been reflecting on the type of content I wish to release to the world on this Personal Podcast Dump. I'm sure we all love the hysterical chats at 1am but I feel like this would also be a great space to shed light on some of my experiences and tidbits of revelations along my journey. For the month of June, I have decided to devote the next few episodes to finding solace with my sexuality and Hindu identity. Today's episode explores my relationship to both my Hindu and Queer identity as well as the many parallels between both!

I hope all of you are well and use this time to evoke a sense of pride within your lives for being YOU!

    Thanks for tuning in 3.

    Embarrassing College Memories Pt. 1

    Embarrassing College Memories Pt. 1

Reminiscing on my wonderful college days. This story was not too wild but I'm hoping to share the beautiful moments and not so beautiful moments as well as my key-takeaways from college life. Definitely blessed and fortunate for these life-long memories that I hope to share with my kids by the fireplace once they are at an appropriate age xD. But for now, I hope you enjoy my as-usual midnight chat.

    Showing Up for You.

    Showing Up for You.

Happy Valentine's Day to the light and beauty within you. In life, we are often caught up with responsibilities, expectations and identities that often deplete our energy. In efforts to show up for the people and causes we care about, we sometimes forget to do the same for ourselves. In this podcast, I delve into my inner journey during this pandemic and share tidbits of my learnings and experiences. I mention in the podcast that one thing is certain...the relationship we have with ourselves until the day we die. The relationship you have with yourself is the most important of them all. I hope you enjoy today's episode and as always, I send all of you positive vibes and love your way.

    Hello World!

    Hello World!

Hullooo World! This was honestly a very last minute, spontaneous decision to record a podcast let alone release it to the world. It may be my only recording! You can let met know if you'd like more. But...today I delved into my experience and observation of being a gay Indian male in the Vancouver gay community. This podcast is not meant to offend any individual, group or community, but it does shed light on some of the realities of my "gay experience."
Give it a like, thumbs up or subscribe to my channel...oh wait...this isn't YouTube 🤦‍♀️
