Fourth year student, Kate Mills hosts our next HSA podcast. In this episode, she interviews Kelly Hinerth, the inpatient clinical pharmacy manager at Harborview Medical Center, and Lloyd Stever, pharmacy director at Samaritan Hospital. Both pharmacists share their thoughts and answers on what it means to be a leader in their team, including how they got their current position and what they think contributes to being a strong leader.

Health Systems Academy Chair, Kevin Anderson, interviews Joshua Villarreal, clinical lead educator at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, and Jennifer Miller, assistant professor at the Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on their view on use of artificial intelligence. Kevin discusses questions regarding the use of AI in and out of the classroom while Joshua and Jennifer provides their experience of where students have used it or how they may potentially use it. This podcast is a must listen for all educators as AI slowly integrates itself into the daily life of students and eventually makes its way into the classroom setting.

Listen in as Jacqueline discusses her journey of becoming an advocate for sexual assault victims and recommendation of resources so more pharmacists can become additional advocates for victims in the community.
