All the political ideologies, ideas, and philosophies are united in the complex title of this podcast: isms & cracies.
What is an ”ism” though? There are masses of ”isms”.
Socialism is one of them. Or capitalism. Or mercantilism.
And the most famous ”cracy” is, of course, democracy. But it is not alone. There is also autocracy. And plutocracy. Even bureaucracy is a known term.
A podcast for everyone who prefers complexity over black-and-white thinking.
”isms & cracies” is intended to be thought-provoking for everyone interested and involved in politics. After all, more than understanding only the basics and knowing only one narrative is required for an honest assessment.
To question, interpret, and broaden one’s horizons: that’s what it takes to really enter a political debate. Drawing red lines, connecting the dots, and illuminating different political narratives before yelling for change. Unfortunately, this attitude is rare in western media nowadays.
If you believe that liberal-conservative thinking is a matter of the past, listen carefully. And if you identify with liberal-conservative values, ”isms & cracies” offers profound insights and compromise instead of scaremongering.
Thinking is encouraged. Questioning anyway.
