Jesus Luzardo pitched eight brilliant innings, allowing just three hits, walking none and striking out four, to lead the surging Miami Marlins (16-34) past the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0 in the finale of their three-game series in Miami. Jazz Chisholm homered to lead off the bottom of the first inning for Miami, and that was all the offense the Marlins needed to win their 7th out of their last ten games.

Christian Yelich hit a two-run triple in the eighth inning to lead the Milwaukee Brewers past the Miami Marlins, 7-5 in Miami. The scrappy Marlins fell behind big early, but as they've been doing all the time lately, they kept chipping away. The two teams have split the first two games of this series.
