My goal is to bring to life the stories of the past yugas where Lord Narayana assumed the form of living beings to establish Dharma whenever there was a threat of it being eclipsed. I want us to unlock the power of these stories and learn to be more human. I will start with Srimad Bhagavatam and this was composed by Veda Vyasa. The story goes that he was not very happy after composing the Mahabharata and related this to sage Narada who then advised him to write something glorifying Lord Narayana. Thus he compiled Srimad Bhagavatam.

Srimad Bhagavatam - The End which was the beginning. This episode starts with the revenge of Ashvatthama, son of Drona and eventually his fate at the hands of Arjuna followed by Uttarayana which covers the salvation of Bhishma and his hymn on the glory of Krishna as he breathed his last like a tired traveler at the end of his journey. This is followed by the depression of Yudhishthira and Kunti's conversation with Krishna as he takes leaves of the Pandavas. The episode then ends with Yudhishthira performing the Ashvamedha yaga.

    Srimad Bhagavatam - Bhakti

    Srimad Bhagavatam - Bhakti

Srimad Bhagavatam - This a summarized version of the great epic. This episode is the introduction to the Bhagavata Purana and plunges the listeners into a wondrous and ancient world of Lord Narayana. In this new rendition of the renowned classic I have tried to keep the original core intact but have tried to retell it like a fast paced historical novel. This episode revolves around Ugrasharava telling Shaunaka why Vyasa composed this Purana as his last contribution for the well-being of mankind. It gives the background to why Vyasa even after completing the great Mahabharata was not able to find peace. He learns about the previous birth of Narada the son of Brahma and how he became Lord Narayana’s constant companion and through that Vyasa realizes the power of Bhakti yoga.
