It’s can be a little overwhelming being online when there seem to be so many poisonous trolls. GBNews fans, antivaxxers, incels, anti-woke, fascists who claim not to be fascists but who call antifascists “fascists”, not to mention Lawrence flipping Fox… It’s exhausting. So this light and erudite zoomed-out point of view is a great counterpoint to the horror in the trenches. The subject matter is often heavy, but the general attitude of this podcast is fascination and problem solving. Dissecting the reasons for far right radicalisation, and what can be done in real life.
