    #248 Building Better Health Bridges

    #248 Building Better Health Bridges

Recently, I had the chance to be a group speaker and leader at a one day women’s health retreat.
Each of us leaders got to teach on a topic of our choice and if you know me you know I chose to teach on how you can be your #1 self-care hero.
After our talk we broke out into small groups and the leaders were asked to ask their group 2 questions and then as a group they were to come up with answers to the questions.
My two questions to my group were: how can women build bridges to intersect the 6 fundamentals areas of their health better hydration, better nutrition, better sleep, less stress, more movement, and building spirituality
And what are 3 key questions women can ask themselves to inspire better health for themselves
In this episode I share with you their answers to both questions as they were great answers.

#245 Strategies To Improve Your Mental Health

#245 Strategies To Improve Your Mental Health

Hey ladies, let's talk about something so important yet often overlooked - protecting our mental health as working women who juggle both careers and personal lives. We wear a ton of hats - employee, manager, wife, mom, friend, you name it. And with all those roles comes a massive amount of stress and pressure.
I'll be the first to admit that I've struggled to find that elusive work-life balance at times. Whether it's dealing with a difficult coworker, pulling an all-nighter to hit a deadline, or just trying to be Supermom, it can take a serious toll mentally and emotionally. I've had my share of burnout, anxiety, and occasional blues.
But I've learned some great tips along the way for safeguarding my mental wellness, and I want to share them with you.
    We’ll talk about:
    The power of Boundaries
    How Mindfulness comes into play
Why you need to Seek Support and connection
What does self-care have to do with it
How can we challenge perfectionism and cultivate self-compassion
There is a better way called work-life integration
