Xenorama, the Podcast of Heroes and Monsters Agent RX-7

In which X7 talks about one of his favorite fantasy movies- The Magic Serpent, AKA about 42 other names. One of them is indeed Froggo vs. Droggo! The movie was released in Japan in 1966, then brought over here by AIP-TV later on. It was dubbed by Titan, which means you can hear some very familiar voices in the movie. Familiar if you have seen Speed Racer or several Godzilla movies. This is a Toei movie, and they are not generally known for their giant monster movies, but they hit it out of the park for this one, I'll tell you what!

In which X7 travels back in time to the 50s. Here he finds a group of heroes calling themselves the Avengers! However, this is an Avengers the world had never seen before, made up of a robot, a humanoid gorilla, a goddess, a super smart man and a living robot! Hmm, maybe we have seen Avengers like this before! Find out who these Avengers are!

In which X7, that amazing agent of awesome, reviews the 8th episode of the Herculoids! This could be considered a Halloween episode, since it was broadcast 10-28-1967. There is a lot of slam bang action in the first segment, followed by an almost spooky segment about an ancient being called Trax! Any guesses as to who is going to be sacrificed to bring Trax back to life?

In which X7 rocks out to the 1957 movie The Monolith Monsters. This was aired on Svengoolie last night, and the movie is a lot of fun. Where else can you see alien rocks rise up to giant heights, fall over and do it again and again? Here! We talk about some interesting parts of the movie and some of the great stars in it. Rock on!

In which X7 speeds back to the 90s to visit The Flash television series. This was the first teleseries to present a more serious superhero since the late 70s. It works well for the most part. The show is easily and rather inexpensively available to view. It really was good enough to last several seasons, and the character did return in a different Flash series. Who knew that would happen?

In which X7 talks about seven random songs, and begins an experiment about the podcast! These songs are from 1949 to 2024, possibly the widest range of music we have had on an episode. We did skip the 60s today though. Not on purpose! We could not resist using the thumbnail today, though.
