Fantastic
I have only just subscribed and listened to a few but really like the delivery so far! Great speed and good for practice in listening comprehension and pronunciation to supplement my university course. Fantastic
A practically perfect learning tool
Daily FrenchPod is a breath of fresh air in the world of French language learning. I have tried many different methods and mediums of independent french tuition, and this podcast is certainly one of the most useful.
I consider myself to be of a beginners-intermediate level of French and for me, the speed and content of these podcasts are absolutely spot-on.
The use of colloquial french terms in the regular 'Real Life French' podcasts are fantastic and very valuable, as they prepare you for words and phrases that many French textbooks seem to omit.
There's something here for people a wide range of French levels, and I'm truly pleased to have discovered it!
Français pour tout le monde! :)
One of the hardest things in learning a foreign language is getting access to native speakers. One of the easiest ways to learn is by immersing yourself by living in the country where you can listen to the lingo and learn new words everyday. But thats kind of hard to do when you don't have the time and money to spend a year in the south of france. But with this handy little podcast I can do it all from home or the car.
The topics are interesting and the pace is not too fast and length not too long to discourage beginners (though some basic understanding of french grammar and common verbs is clearly a prerequisite) I think more advanced learners will appreciate the weekly dictations, and also having the explanations of difficult words mostly defined in french with more familiar synonyms.
BTW: the website is also easy to use and with a small monthly fee you get full transcripts including all definitions and their archive of dozens more lessons. Ècoutons! :)
