6) Bristol Revisited (Reflections & Smiles 😁) The best dentistry and a journey to remember. We Are The Weather

In October 2018 I took a journey into Bristol, not very interesting in itself perhaps but that journey made a whole year before I started the #WeAreTheWeather podcast marked a number of discoveries that have helped to shape my life since 🙂 Chance metings, times for reflection and of course, that which shines through to save the day in the face of adversity (of which there was an abundance that day!) 😇 In this episode I also talk around the subject of why healthcare and particularly 'essential dentistry' should always be centered around actual patient care rather than trusting to just one opinion in our semi privatised, profit lead system where we are shuffled around in set 20 & 40 minite appointments! I have always believed that 'essential' dentistry should be free! 🙂 The UK's system is a strange mixture indeed and has, as things do, become accepted over the years! We trust a dentist, they continually book appointments for us and we dutifully pay them! But did you know that a secret world of FREE, patient centered, expert dental care ACTUALLY ALREADY EXISTS and is potentially available if you are prepared to travel to your nearest teaching hospital.
