I don’t know if rob harvilla reads reviews but I listen to the last episode of the podcast while my three year old daughter slept pinning down my left arm. Thanks for the nostalgia. Thanks keeping me company in the Covid and post Covid and long hours with a little kid years.
Excellent but you don’t need to listen to it all
Rob’s parts are superb. Well crafted, well thought out, entertaining, nostalgic just superb
Each episode though features a critic or writer for the last 3rd of the show. Rob speaks eloquently and interestingly. These guests generally do not
Bill Simmons was the perfect example of what a guest SHOULD be on the show (his theories on the Smashing Pumpkins in the Mayonaise episode are great) but too often the guests are ‘writers’ trying to speak well. They don’t
I sample the first 2 minutes of the guest spots and will just jump to another episode if they are not interesting
