In this episode, I share with you how to make sure your long distance friendships stay strong.  I share a little more of myself since I live far from my childhood friends.  Our annual reunion is a good way to reconnect.  We all ensure we do things throughout the year to stay present in each other's life.  I highly recommend you pick up the phone and make that call or send that text.  There should be no judgment, no competition, just honest, real friends keeping connected.

In this episode I talk about different things I am really grateful for in the year.  Please tune in and see the different things that I feel proud of from being a guest on Charro Azteca, to attending conferences and joining a mastermind group to support fellow women also pursuing their goals and dreams through the different journeys.

So, as we are closing out the year, I share with you personal lessons, I have learned, especially in the last few days of the year with lots of travel.  Listen to this episode as you picture the Home Alone scenes of the family running through airports and losing their son Kevin.  Fortunately, I did not lose my sons but we all chuckled as we understood that Home Alone movie didn’t seem so unrealistic any longer.  The good news we did make it to our destination, but it was with lots of creativeness and flexibility.  The timing of things in our life sometimes don’t make sense, but then we understand why we encounter them.  I had just read Marie Forleo’s book, Everything is Figureoutable and thanks to that I was able to figure out how to navigate the different problems we encountered.  I knew my goal was to make it to our destination, and we succeeded.

So now you are on a new journey where your child is going to start preschool or elementary school, but you are unsure of what this means.  Well, it means enrollment time and this usually starts in the month of January.  Listen to this episode as I give ideas on how to make the process less intimidating and making sure you are prepared for all the paperwork needed to complete.  If you think well it’s only preschool, this is even more reason to ensure you go right away and enroll, spaces are limited and spots fill up quickly.  Maybe you are thinking my kids are beyond this well, then share this episode with a friend who might just be starting this journey.
