Revelation 8:1-13

Jesus shows John there’s a seventh seal, a seventh tribulation that’s coming, and it’ll unleash multiple catastrophic events that’ll cause greater destruction than the others. Both skeptics and believers know our world is headed for final destruction. We can find peace in knowing Jesus will bring restoration after the destruction. Jesus wants you to be a part of the restoration, and to help lead others to be a part of the restoration.

Revelation 7:1-17

Revelation chapter 7 teaches us is that we can still have hope during these tribulations. We can still have hope even when the worst tribulation comes at the end of history. When that day comes, we need to remember to find hope and peace in the promised salvation and shelter of our Savior.

Revelation 6:9-17

Jesus opens two more seals, releasing two more tribulations, and as we study this text we’ll learn about the grace of the lamb, and the wrath of the lion. Revelation 6 is God’s wrath being poured out on those who’ve broken his laws and rejected him as their God. But those who put their faith in Jesus will receive God’s grace instead of God’s wrath. We’ll receive eternal life and joy in heaven with Jesus, instead of eternal punishment in hell without Jesus. What Revelation 6 is teaching us is those who are skeptics need to put their faith in Jesus, and those who are believers need to stand firm in their faith in Jesus.

Sin and evil have an expiration date, which is good news for our lives, relationships, and world. We’d much rather live in a world where sin and evil have an expiration date, and the good news is that world is coming for those who put their faith in Jesus. Find hope in knowing the world you want without sin and evil destroying our lives, relationships, and world is coming. 

Revelation 5: 1-14

Revelation 5 is a secret document telling of God’s coming Kingdom, His plans for salvation, and His plans for judgment. It’s literally God’s plan for taking back the universe, written down, and sealed. 

Revelation 4:1-11

In this 2nd vision John receives of Jesus and the Cosmos, we’re learning God is infinitely greater than we can imagine or describe, and so is the heaven he’s taking us to. Today’s text can give us peace, because it teaches our world isn’t always going to be as chaotic as it is today. It teaches God has a plan for those who put their faith in Jesus. It’s a plan that includes getting to explore infinite, indescribable, joyful pleasures in heaven with him.
