I am always on the look out for helpful research and evidence to ensure I am safe in my practice and that I am up to date. I found this specific podcast to be of real value, really reassuring for me to know I am indeed on track. However for those listening to this without previous experience it would be equally useful. The language and use of metaphors was really accesable for all.

Totally recommend.

Off to listen to the back catalogue.

Great introduction to meditation and anxiety

Refreshing to bring in Vedic meditation to address anxiety, as different from mindfulness. Fascinating how a mantra can soothe us out of anxious patterns. Thoughtful refections on the relation of the brain to meditation and mindfulness. All this from someone, who experiencer severe insomnia. Really helpful.
