    Welcome to Episode 32!

It's the Lost Episode this week; thanks to some technical difficulties, this one didn't see the light of day, but that changes today!

From the 2025 Urus PHEV to the swan song for the stick GTI, plus a big Range Rover and a couple of sporty Subies thrown in for measure, Nick and Nathan have lots to chat about in this one. Enjoy!

Here's what we talked about in this episode:

    2025 Lamborghini Urus SE
    2024 Range Rover Sport
    2024 Subaru WRX RS
    2024 Subaru BRZ tS
    2024 Volkswagen GTI 380

Episode 31: Smoking tires with The Smoking Tire

    Welcome to Episode 31!

It's a bit of a different setup this week: Adi took the reigns as we welcome Matt Farah — yup, the Matt Farah from The Smoking Tire — over Zoom. We chatted about Matt's new-to-him Bentley Turbo R, making a living in automotive journalism, and life in gearhead Mecca.

You can find Matt Farah at @thesmokingtire on socials, listen to The Smoking Tire's podcasts wherever you get your podcasts from, and often catch his written stories in Road & Track. Next time you're in SoCal, be sure to pop by West Side Collector Car Storage!

(Yes, we did encounter some audio issues. Tried to bring up Nick's audio as best we could, so bear with us. Not like he has anything important to say, anyway!)

Episode 30: Cruisin' with the Land Cruiser

Episode 30: Cruisin' with the Land Cruiser

    Welcome to Episode 30!

This week, Toyota tossed us the keys to the new Land Cruiser for a day. Nathan jumped the highest and caught them, so he tells us all about Toyota's iconic and thoroughly redesigned off-roader.

Plus, Nick and Imran remenisce about the G35 Coupe with rose-tinted glasses — while Nathan, uhh, disagrees with their assessments — and the crew agrees that a base CX-50 is all the compact crossover most people will ever need.

Here's what we talked about this week:

    2024 Toyota Land Cruiser
2024 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD Nightshade
2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe (owned by a good friend of ours)
    2024 Mazda CX-50 GS-P

    Episode 29: Gimme the Knob

    Episode 29: Gimme the Knob

Hear ye! Hear ye! It's Episode 29!

This week, Nathan tells us about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter he drove a few weeks ago — he calls it a '25 on the podcast, but it's actually a '24 — aimed squarely at the Colorado ZR2, Canyon AT4, and Ranger Raptor. Is its hardcore off-road hardware and hybrid powertrain enough to make it stand out? It sure looks the part.

Plus, Imran has a confession to make: he has a crush on his press car this week, the new-for-2024 Crosstrek Wilderness. In fact, of all the subcompact-ish crossovers out there, that's the one he'd park in his driveway — much to Nathan's bemusement, who's still coming off his HR-V high.

And finally, Nick's in the X1 M35i, the hot hatch-ish variant of BMW's ubiquitous X1. He wants to like it, but there are a couple of things holding him back. BMW, if you're reading — or listening — make the "Sport" programming for the transmission standard.

Here's what we discussed this week:

    2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter
    2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness
    2024 BMW X1 M35i

Episode 28: Rock You Like a Huracan Sterrato

Episode 28: Rock You Like a Huracan Sterrato

    Welcome to Episode 26!

Imran took a few weeks off for Ramadan, but he's back in studio this week, recapping what he's been driving — from the honkin' Yukon Denali Ultimate to the Mini JCW "1 to 6 Edition" that could probably fit in its trunk. Plus, Nathan spent a day with the just-redesigned, ninth-gen Camry—a.k.a. the "Default Car"—and Nick has the Civic Si this week.

Oh, this is probably worth mentioning: the crew also played with a Huracan Sterrato for a couple of days this week. NBD.

Here's what we talked about this week:

    2025 Toyota Camry
    2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6
    2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate
2024 Mini John Cooper Works 3-Door 1 to 6 Edition
    2024 Honda Civic Si
    2024 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato

Episode 27: No Replacement for Displacement

Episode 27: No Replacement for Displacement

    Welcome to Episode 27!

A few months ago, Nick spent some quality time with the Cayenne Coupe and wanted to like it, the base turbo V6 wasn't a good match. This week, behind the wheel of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne S, he confirms his suspicious — that the Cayenne is best enjoyed with at least eight cylinders.

Meanwhile, Nathan finds himself unexpectedly smitten with his press car. This isn't exactly unusual; Nathan's fallen for cars like the IS 500, the Z4, and the Chrysler 300C. But this time, it's the 2024 Honda HR-V making Nathan go bananas.

Plus, Rush joins in-studio to offer his thoughts on the Cayenne S and HR-V, the 2025 Toyota 4Runner that just debuted, and to generally berate Nick and Nathan.
