திருப்பாடல்கள் - அதிகாரம் – 11: 1-7 – திருவிவிலியம் (The Book of Psalms)
ஆண்டவரிடம் நம்பிக்கை
(பாடகர் தலைவர்க்கு: தாவீதுக்கு உரியது)
1நான் ஆண்டவரிடம் அடைக்கலம்
புகுந்துள்ளேன்;
நீங்கள் என்னிடம், ‛பறவையைப் போல
மலைக்குப் பறந்தோடிப் போ;
2ஏனெனில், இதோ பார்!
பொல்லார் வில்லை வளைக்கின்றனர்;
நாணில் அம்பு தொடுக்கின்றனர்;
நேரிய உள்ளத்தார்மீது
இருளில் அம்பு எய்யப் பார்க்கின்றனர்;
3அடித்தளங்களே தகர்க்கப்படும்பொழுது,
நேர்மையாளரால் என்ன செய்ய முடியும்?’
என்று சொல்வது எப்படி?
4ஆண்டவர் தம் தூய கோவிலில்
இருக்கின்றார்; அவரது அரியணை
விண்ணுலகில் இருக்கின்றது;
அவர் கண்கள் உற்று நோக்குகின்றன;
அவர் விழிகள்
மானிடரைச் சோதித்தறிகின்றன.
5ஆண்டவர் நேர்மையாளரையும்
பொல்லாரையும் சோதித்தறிகின்றார்;
வன்முறையில் நாட்டங்கொள்வோரை
அவர் வெறுக்கின்றார்.
6அவர் பொல்லார்மீது கரிநெருப்பும்
கந்தகமும் சொரியும்படி செய்கின்றார்;
பொசுக்கும் தீக்காற்றே
அவர்கள் குடிக்கும் பானமாகும்.
7ஏனெனில், நீதியுள்ள ஆண்டவர்
நேரிய செயல்களை விரும்புகின்றார்;
அவர்தம் திருமுகத்தை
நேர்மையாளர் காண்பர்.
