Why Moms Need to Take a Girls Trip Career Mom

    • Parenting

I have been taking a trip with my best friends, Laura and Denise, for 5 years in a row. Our girls trips are so special to us and one of the ways that we stay connected. We’ve made these trips a priority throughout marriages, babies, and crazy work schedules. This episode was recorded on our last girls trip and we discuss the reasons these trips are so important to us.

Top 5 reasons moms need to take a girls trip:

It is important to nurture your friendships.
Taking trips is a way to model to our children the importance of friendships.
Giving our children and partners an opportunity to bond and run the household while mom is gone!
Mom needs a break; sleep in, relax, and enjoy your friends.
The memories you make together can sustain long distance friendships and the isolation of motherhood.

When's the last time you had a girls trip? You deserve one!
